director of the KCC, Cherab Foundation advisor Nancy R. Kaufman, M.A., CCC/SPL, has specialized in the preschool
population for 21-years. She lectures locally and nationally on the subject
of apraxia of speech in children and has earned awards for continuing
education. Nancy Kaufman is one of the members of the board of the Cherab Foundation,
and was part of the First Apraxia Conference

disabilities. She is a cognitive neuroscientist and a board-certified
clinical psychologist and founder and co-director of the Center for Molecular
and Behavioral Neuroscience at Rutgers University. In 1996 Tallal
co-founded Scientific Learning Corporation, in Berkeley, CA., the company
that developed Fast ForWord, a new training program for children with
language learning problems.
